Origin of The Name "Tenoch" 🇲🇽
Among the earliest leaders of Aztec society were priest who served as intermediaries between their people and their gods. One of these priests was Tenoch. Tenoch led his tribe to a place where their god Huitzilopochtli ordered them to establish a city in his honor. The Aztecs founded their city in 1325 and named it Tenochtitlan. Today it is Mexico City.

Outstanding. Each dish is prepared with love. The food is fresh, flavourful and filling. The guacamole was the best ever - chunky and tasty. The tortilla chips are homemade and delicious. We also had the rice bowl with the beef marinated in orange and peppers, and the chicken enchiladas. The prices were very reasonable and the service was great.

Tenoch is a beautiful restaurant in Beacon Hill. Loved all the plants and decor. 😍 It was a very clean restaurant and we loved how friendly everyone was. The food was good and reasonably priced. We recommend the puerco en pasilla, pork in a sauce made from dried pasilla chillis. 😊🌶️ Their salsas were really good too.
